No such work as "can't" so it just depends how easy it is to fit them ;)

Good sets still crop up from time to time.

There were two types of seat bases fitted to 300's - the early ones had a narrow tubular frame with a full base that bolts down to the body with a plastic trim fitted to the outside edge, the later ones have a welded in frame which is almost as wide as the seat with a full plastic trim on the front that returns around the side.

If you have the tubular frame you'll need to make up an adaptor plate to take the RR seats - this also lifts the seats up a bit (handy if you're vertically challenged!)
The welded in frame is on the same spacing as the RR seats and the seats will bolt straight to this although the rear of the seat runners have two fixings on the RR seat on the flat of the runner the later disco seats have one fixing on the flat of the runner and a fixing at 90deg.

The soft dash RRC also had the 90 degree bracket on the back of the seat runner, though in theh RRC the holes to mount the ealrier seat are still there.  It's so you can fit/remove the seat without running it forewards and back 2 or 3 times.  The later softie seast are themselves a bit softer, you sit in them not on them.  The softie is sometimes called the 300 series RRC.
