seating options
« on: March 17, 2010, 06:24:22 »
other than oem seats what sporty/ supportive seats will readily fit the tilting frames of a 200 serise 3 door disco?
i don't really want full racing bucket seats but find the origional ones a bit tough on my back on a day on the lanes, so was thinking to get some out of, say, a fast road car.
any thoughts welcome.

Not sure if they'll bolt straight onto the LR seat frames but the front seats out of the rover 216GTI & the coupe's are quiet supportive plus have the tilt mech so you can get into the back seat & shouldn't cost that much now. The rover 820 vitesse front seats are very nice & are made by Recaro but don't have the tilt. Have always found the seats in ford escorts comfy like the mk4 XR3i seats, mk5-6 Si seats. Go to the breakers & try them out ;)
I don't suffer insaity ! I enjoy it !!!
