This comes up a lot. YOU DO NOT NEED EXTRA COVER FOR GREEN LANEING AS IT IS A PUBLIC ROAD!! You only need cover for "off road driving".I found http://2getherinsurance.com/ to be very good for my LC. Agree value with just telling them what I had done to it, no pictures needed.Paul

the only risk of higher claims from driving a byway comes if those claiming can't accept responsibility for their own actions. i.e. if i were to slide on a loose surface into a hole and bend my car then i would fix it my self not claim on my insurance. equally if there was already another car at the bottom of said hole as i landed i would expect a third party claim if i could not offer a repair to the other vehicle, but i would not claim for my car to be fixed as it was obviously my fault and therefor my responsibility.
as a farmer there is no such thing as a day off regardless of what you have done to yourself; livestock has no sympathy and needs looking after.
