I Like Bovril on toast although I’ve never had it as a drink.

You can't beat mayonnaise and tomato sauce mixed (50/50 mix) for dipping your chips in. Anyone else tryed it?

Banana and marmite buttes, used to make em when I was touring not had one since.

Vegemite and Marmite are different...  You can buy both over here.  I like Vegemite better, by a whisker.

This thread provoked me into making some Bovril on toast.  I'm impressed they managed to capture the good old beefy taste even though they've got rid of all the cow ingredients.  Thumbs up.

i never thought it would generate so much interest  glad to see i,m not alone though, i have always liked bovril on toast but have been singled out as weird in my family. the other half likes peanut butter on toast which makes me reach for the sick bucket, foul tasting stuff! that and tinned tomatoes she likes as well

When I was about 7, my friend's mum offered me a butterscotch sandwich.  (The mind boggles.)  Of course, no self-respecting 7-year-old could resist a butterscotch sandwich.  It was revolting.  I've not touched butterscotch since.

How about something called flumf, or something like this, its a marsh mellow in a jar, spreads like the consistancy of sticky jam, in various flavours, my missis and kids went mad on this, on sandwiches and toast
