Propshaft length 200 / 300 / td5
« on: April 13, 2010, 13:31:24 »
Hi folks i need a rear prop for my 90 after fitting the TD5, the origanal prop from the v8 is now to small,so does anyone know if i need to get a TD5 prop or could i just use a old 200 or 300 tdi prop as these seem to be a bit cheaper and easier to get hold of.
                 cheers Mike

The 200 Tdi is the same prop shafts as a Td4 Defender
The 300 Tdi is the same as a Td5

it depends where abouts you have fitted the engine really as to what prop you need.
if it was me fitting it ( ive done alot of 200/300 and td5 conversions now) i would have left the t/box mounts where they were to retain the same props
