Oil Drum Barbecue

Strange one this but my friend want to build his own barbecue from an oil drum
Does anyone know where I can get one from??? Obviously it needs to be food freindly :)

its not that far from Leeds to Northants is it?? Anyway, all I a trying to do is find someone who has one, it is up to him then I guess. I will PM you tomorrow if he is going to travel for one

Give your local fuel supplier a try, Rock Oil in Warrington used to give them away if you only wanted one and asked nicely.

We have a couple in the yard at work - I'll ask the boss if they are going spare. Could always sneek into yard under cover of darkness and borrow them

that would be great, it obviously cannot be returned tho cos it wll be cut in half and modified a little, you know the thing, legs, spit etc etc

Dependant on where he lives in Leeds, has he tried the smaller suppliers like the one at the end of Fleet Lane in Woodlesford.
Or Bayford(or is it Thrust?) at Castleford on Lock Lane.

I'm surprised that no small 'backstreet garage' (for want of a better expression) has any they want to get rid of :shock:

Alternatively, why not try a 'Pikey' site after they've been moved on, there's bound to be one there. Just mind where you're treading :lol:
At least he can collect the LPG cylinders and collect the deposits on them! :roll:
