Ok, everyone ask about tyre sizes with lift kits ….. what’s the biggest you can fit without ? arch trimming not a problem, but didn’t want to buy both lift and tyres (not mine brothers rangie)
will 7.50's fit ?

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

depends on the offset on the rims, and tyre tread, 2" lift with 235x70x16 grizzly claws on rangie alloys WILL damage the front and rear arches, this is a fact not a maybe. this is becouse of the lugs on the tyres.

Made worse by the fact that remoulds are made over the top of the existing tyre, so a 235/70/16 grizzly claw will trash your arches but the 235/70/16 General Ameris that are on my 'best' rims will look fine on a standard Rangie (exept they're MINE) as they have the same rolling radius as 205r16 and slightly
smaller
than the 225/75/16 that I have on at the moment.
