the engine is now running and behaving nicely but the zf auto box does not engage into gear the transfer box does but the auto dont ? now is it something to do with the leccy conecctor that is not connected by the kickdown cable?
pls help

You need to check the pump is working ok, if there is lots of oil flowing through the oil cooler then all is ok.
How did you fit the box to the engine? it's way too easy to damge the oil pump
