Don't know thw layout of the Sportrack but was wondering, if the pump is electric, and exposed to the elements (as some are) could a sudden blast of water have effected the electrics? Especially as you say there's no sign of petrol in the engine area?

im not to sure but i've had the plugs out and there is a gap of about 3-4 mm (prob been in 60000 miles)
i found what looks like a drane pipe on the dizzy maybe the water has made its way up there?
how ever there isn't much of a spark from the remainin plugs so could it be not enough of a spark?
and yes this model is electric fuel pump.

On torsion bar front suspension you can wind them up to raise, but do not exceed 2". Rear leaves do the spring hangers. There's  a firm that makes hangers for the job, but I don't know their name. 'Red' something?
Treat 2" as the maximum to avoid other mods. Still allows fitment of slightly larger tyres that increase ground clearance.

11 days since your post - improving!!!
