flashers
« on: June 07, 2010, 10:51:46 »
HI my dad has recently bought a 1995 v8 disco.

when he used it on friday the indicators started to flash really fast both sides. all the bulbs are working and i have looked at connections.
when you use the hazards they flash at the normal speed, just when you put the left or right turn signal on they flash fast.

any idears why this might be

thanks
paul

Sounds like a dodgy relay to me, or an earth, my money'd be on the relay though!

They flash fast to warn you of a bulb failure, so the lights aren't draing enough current.  Either it's the wrong relay or a bad connection.
