Hi i have brought a 2001 freelander my sunroof you can hear the motor turning but it doesnt move any ideas what it could be.

Hi, i would say possibly stripped cogs on the gearing on the motor. Can you see it or if not it's going to be a case of removing the headlining and having a look.
