D2 Td5 fuel filter tap
« on: June 21, 2010, 19:01:43 »
Hi guys and gals,
After recent problems with the fuel filter totally blocking on the disco i now have a leaky fuel filter!
The reason for this is the little tap on the bottom of the filter was at some point in the vehicles past, replaced with a bolt with the incorrect thread. I used the bolt to put into the new filter, but its stripped the thread. So i "assisted" the bolt with some leak-fix..... problem solved? For a day!
The little story above now leads me to ask if anyone has the tap i require? I will exchange for beer tokens which are accepted in all uk licensed establishments.
