I drive a 97 discovery 300tdi auto.
Its just started playing up, driving along and touching the accelerator my cause it too dive on the revs and bring up the check engine fault light-this can be repeated in 3rd at 1750rpm with a little off then on the accelerator.
I can also repeat it in park at 1250rpm if held in the exact spot revs die too 800 and check engine light comes on?
Any ideas or someone resonably priced too check fault codes in the south birmingham area?
