Am I being daft. Can't find a dip stick, is it done from a bung underneath? D2 td5
My wife can't wrestle but you should see her box.

Hi  John

There is not a dipstick on the Disco 2 (there is on the disco 1, and on the bonnet in the picture  :P )

The landrover service book says change the oil  once early on, and then it is not in the service schedule again!

It check from underneath, undo the filler cap and there should be a 3mm bead of oil leaving the filler.

might not be on service but make sure you check it low level cost me a new gearbox in france aug 09 due to burnt out clutch pack cause low oil level
