hi all i have just fitted 2 fold up seats in my 90 wots the law reguarding belts, do i need to fit any ? will lap belts do ? if so do they have to be mounted to the chassis or can i use the seat mount bolts .

What year was the 90 registered?
And no, if fitted belts have to be mounted securely to the proper fittings.

for an MOT side facing seats DO NOT need Seat belts, but check this for what is required, also if you are mounting them to the seat then the seats must be securly mounted to the chassis,

I'd check with your insurance first, you may have trouble getting it insured.
