is it okay..
« on: August 11, 2010, 07:45:02 »
to headshot with my imaginary sniper rifle the half dozen or so people whom regularly drive illegally out of the oneway street junction that is opposite my house?

My alternative fantasy  is to lay in wait with my defender and then surprise attack the single lane track when they are coming up and not giveway until they have backed all the way to the one way sign.

...okay so I am stuck in the front room of house as I am waiting for a delivery soooooooooooooooo BORED!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a spate of people using the one way street opposite our house the wrong way. I took photos of a couple of them and sent them to the Police by email. Don't know what happened to the drivers, but they haven't done it since!

Report them, then yes its ok to shoot them.

You are well within your rights to head shoot them with your imaginary snipers rifle, BUT not with a real rifle.

Bring back the little electronic box, that use to make the noises for you when driving, you could machine gun the car in front!!!!!!!

This might help - http://www.camerapedia.org/wiki/Zenit_Photosniper

That's brilliant! Never seen one of those before, despite being in the photographic industry in the Zenith era

Only the Russians would come up with a piece of psuedo spy kit that looked like an AK47

The Photosniper is quite well known - I keep an eye out for a good one on ebay. I doubt I'd use it much as I have assorted manual Pentax bodies for my 35mm fix, but they come in a very neat case which resembles a piece of military equipment and they look great fun to play with, providing you keep away from sensitive areas!

If you're buying one make sure you get the original camera body with the kit - it was modified by Zenit with a second shutter button on the base, which is pressed by the trigger via a simple mechanical linkage. Other Zenit bodies will fit on the stock but the trigger won't press the shutter.
