If you have to pay for fitting it makes buying on line quite a bit more expensive.

Good point but it depends on the online price of the tyres. Boring car tyres we get from local fitters, expensive 4x4 tyres are bought online and fited locally

+1 Camskill - very good value.

Andy Sergeant.... AJS of Reigate.

They are at the top of Reigate Hill - go over the M25 and continue on the A217 and they are on the left just before the next roundabout.

Always used to make me laugh as there's a load of fence posts (vertical) in the central reservation... suspect this is to stop people taking the 'short cut' across the green stuff with nice shiny new tyres!!!

Been there years - knows his stuff.

They are site sponsors on disco3.co.uk if you can't find elsewhere..
Discovery 300 Tdi - 2" lift, side exit exhaust, HD bumpers, T-Maxx 9500, removable tow hitch, snorkel and 235/85's

Discovery 4 Commercial - very standard but very nice!

Freelander 2 TD4 - Fun Prevention Officer's

Hi Tel

I have a set of Grabber AT2 and BFG Muds for the disco which I swap depending on what I am doing.  (the MTs were from my previous truck)

To be honest, there is not a lot of difference off road between the two. I have got stuck with both sets of tyres, and I have been impressed with the performance of both.

On road is a different matter.... The MT's are noisy (there are worse tyres out there for noise) and scary in the wet.

My Advice... unless you really need the off road performance of MT's and spend most of your miles off road (and that is not many of us) then stick with some AT's. Much better on road for only a small drop in performance off road.

Just my opinion.   YMMV.
