Hookay stuff the pics i can't get them to upload as me and technology are not suited together.

Basically what i'm looking for is a pic of a disco 1 front (upto just past the front doors) and a 90 hardtop rear finishin just after the rear wheels. If it could be done all the same colour aswell that would be cool. Just need to know if it looks resonable before i get carried away and cut things up.

Cheers

Tis a bit rough, I've got a lot on  :^o

Had to take lots off the length.  Trouble with photoshop is that you can make anything look half decent, doing it in the metal is whole different ball game.

Ehm.. cheers gives me a rough idea of what it might look like anyway.

Yeah photoshop can make things look good. I'm only doing it for something different from my mates (monster pick-ups, tray backs the usual) so i thought lets get a v8 disco and cut the back body off then get the rear from my mates old 90 and put that body on and see what we get. I've got all winter to do it so measure twice cut once and if it looks [!Expletive Deleted!] or anything i'll just make it a trayback.

Cheers again

cheers saffy. Pretty sure that i'm gonna do it now. Well after the harvest when i get my shed space back.

Maybe i'll take off the whole disco roof from the doors back and make a lower roof but i'll see what happens when i get to it. :afro:

Wellllll. actually the more i look at it the uglier it becomes. So maybe i will take almost everyone i have spoke too's advise and not do it.

Hmm how easy would it be to make a freelander run the disco's axles, gearbox's and V8. Also i have a lift kit for a disco lying in my bedroom. Could this be made to fit????? Just wondering as like was said wanna have something out of the ordinary.

Cheers

It does strike me as one of the neater hybrids you could make - the Freelander, for all its limitations, is a very compact and fairly light vehicle, so on a Disco chassis you'd have superb approach and departure angles.

the d lander is a fibreglass shell, not just a simple bolt on.
