Steam Clean

Right OK all you muddy folk, calm yourselves and sit down this question is about cleaning  

My engine bay needs a good steam clean, which I can get done no probs, but there is a small label on the front under the bonnet which reads ' Re Wax after steam cleaned'  :?:

What's all this about  :?:

And what wax  :?:
