ADVICE NEEDED! RR L322 or D3?
« on: October 01, 2010, 15:21:40 »
Right, Im stuck.

After a new Land Rover and cant decide.  Its either a 03 Ranger Rover HSE or an 05 Discovery 3 S

The RR is tempting with all the comforts and mod cons, however Im unsure.

The veichle will be used daily to commute, and for expeds and laining now and again.

The laining makes me lean towards a D3, but not Sat nav or toys on the S, cant quite stretch toa good SE or GS.

Need pionting in a direction as a choice needs to be made soon, defenatly before VAT rise!

Are D3 S's any goodwithout terrain response and air suspension?  Am I getting blinded by gadgets?

Thanks.

To be honest I think I'd pick the Rangie, as I'm not convinced that the new trucks work so well without all the electronics fitted.

My "lottery list" includes a new Autobiography with A/Ts and a load of underbody protection which would then be used as the designers intended!

Am I being daft here, but if they are second hand (03 or 05) then the vat is already paid so thats not an issue, even if from a main dealer?
