ive a pioneer radio fitted in my ? dash its a 200 tdi so its in that pokey little slot near the gear shift but the dam thing keeps going off due to lack of space no dout how do i get round tryin to put new radio in with out struggeling

ive a pioneer head unit in mine and the only time i struggle is when i put it in low box and i hit some of the buttons

what i did notice was that a spacer had to be put in place as the unit was longer than the original..

got mine fitted when i bought it.. took them all day to wire the changer up and new speakers in the rear pillars

I found that my CD player was unreliable and replaced it. On reading the installation instructions for the new one I discovered that they are only designed to be at an angle of less than 60 degrees.

It's more like 80 degrees in a 200tdi. My old CD player works fine if it's level. The new one hasn't died yet...

Just replacing one head unit for another shouldn't be that difficult.

The cassette in my Sony Head unit doesn't like being mounted upside down :( autochanger is fine in the cubby box though.
