« on: October 24, 2010, 09:37:49 »
On the rock sliders has anyone ever used box section instead of 50mm tube? do you think it would look odd i was just thinking of making some for my defender but using box section just a thought

I hate tubular sliders, i've only had box section ones. look far better.

PM me your email and i'll send over the dimensions for 90 sliders, got them here. dead easy to make.

I have box section sliders, easy to make, strong too.. need to get some more recent photos online!

It has been said that, given enough time, a million monkeys bashing at a million typewriters would eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the Saxo forums, we now know this to be wrong

It was a safety devices one. bolt together and bolt to the chassis.

I've got a P&P one on my 110, again bolt together and bolt on. there are 2 uprights that fit to the bulkhead and sandwich the "lip" on the edge of the wing. this upright fits to a U shaped bracket on the outrigger (held on by the bulkhead long bolt)

want some piccies? i'll email them over.
