What a day i had yesterday :(
« on: April 28, 2005, 09:05:00 »
sat in the pub with colleagues avin a pie n chips...

get a phone call from 'er indoors..

trystan has been rushed to hospital (cue panic)
he's swallowed persil washing liquid (the little balls which you put in with your clothes)
he'd burst one and drank the liquid and is vomiting everywhere..

to say my landie crossed the speed limit is an understatement on the way home...

allsorts of bad thoughts were crossing my mind..

he came home in a strop cos docs were putting cold stethoscopes on his torso!

he is ok now and was lucky as it was non-bio or we would be in trouble..

surreal or what

Glad the lad is OK...  doesn't bear thinking about.

I noticed that one of the dishwasher detergent manufacturers used to market a product consisting of a white & blue tablet with a red pea-sized sphere nestled in the top.  They obviously twigged it looked just like a tempting sweet, because they took the red colouring out, even though the packaging still shows it.  I find it rather depressing that manufacturers have to make their products visually appealing like sweets to sell them.
