« on: November 25, 2010, 23:59:08 »
Does anyone know where i can get a pair of blanking plates for the rear windows on my CSW?

I have blanks fitted on my 110 CSW, they are made (or fitted) by landrover special vehicles to customer specification vehicles so probably have a lr part number but I dunno what that would be. They have a similar  frame as the glass window and are riveted in exactly the same way. I purchased mine from www.exmod.co.uk, it not something you will find on the website though, give them a call you might be in luck. They deal in a lot of ex-commercial vehicles including a lot of CSW which have passed through LRSV.  Sometimes customers want glazing put instead of blanks so maybe they might have some knocking about or leave your details to call you when they do. I like them, and they are a solution which can be easily and quickly reversed back to window frame if required.
