It is interesting to see how things have changed. We have changed things around a bit to.
Mum n dad have sold the 90 and brought a Jag.
Me and Rich still have the Zuki and the Audi. However we now have a lovely white Transit van due to the shop needing to transport things and the aquirement of a new family member.
Also we haven't done any off roading for a good 2 years and i can't see us doing any in the near future we just dont have the time or the money to fix the zuki to be able to go off road.
Suzuki Vitara (Rabbit)- Alive and well
206cc (Puggy) -Sold Defender Black (mummys 90)
Disco 200tdi (Serenity)- Sold
Audi S2 - Rich's beast
Audi 100 - The work horse
Sapphire the Siberian Husky
Skye the Alaskan Marlamute

Still got the green RRC, which was AWESOME in the snow - after five years of RR ownership, I finally had one on the road when I needed it, but she's been something of a work in progress for the last three months when the sills turned to net curtains.  It was an emotional moment when she emerged through the gates yesterday for her re-appearance in public, with about 1mm (I kid you not!) to spare on either side.  She's in for MOT tomorrow (wish me luck), and a gigantic THANK YOU to RRB for all his hard work and to the Ant Hill Mob for her patience.

We've bought a 56 reg Mondeo as a daily drive and back-up tow car - my laning days are over since Tarquin's demise four years ago (is it really that long?)  I don't care what anyone says about Mondeos - we love driving it and it serves our purpose (lots of room for the (not so) Little Guy's feet behind the driver, lots of room for the dogs and it tows the caravan a treat).  Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it's just that - their opinion.

Sorry about the lack of photos - it's late and I can't find the lead!

Hi guys
I've only just got back on here as I had the site book marked and it stopped working months ago. I just happened to type in mud club out of interest and found the site is alive and well and I've been missing all the chat.
I wonder how many other users have not come back for the same reason?
Any way I have changed vehicles twice since the site went down.
Sold my 300TDI defender and bought a TD5 Disco but missed the defender too much so my latest ride is a TD5 110

Landyman ...
If in doubt go flat out!!!!

the one on the left is my 88" bitsa (Zebedee) that i've been running as a daily driver for the last two years, dragged everything i've needed it to up and down the country, used in pnp pits, taken laning and even sank it the once and then drove it home 40 minutes later  :azn:

the one on the right is my new one (Big Ears), a 1965 109 utility that i've spent the last 9 months or so stripping down, rebuilding and discrete modification, this is my comfy sunday best car but will see some careful gentle laning

it ain't broke ...

i ain't fixed it enough

I did have this:

But she needed a bit more TLC than I had time to give so I ended up getting this:

But sold it to a mate before I had even put any MOT on it, and got this:

Which until recently was sat on my drive needed a new wheel bearing, a little welding on the sill, tax and MOT, but she's now running for daily duties and *fingers crossed* she hasn't let me down yet.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is!
