Is this another of those Icelandic modified LRs?  There have been a number of articles recently on what the Icelanders do to their vehicles, most of which look very impressive.

The assumption is yes Simon, it is presumably Icelandic.

The Ssang-Yong Musso in th background is also lifted & on 40"(?) tyres.

Be nice at Whitworth, or even just up at the Hospital.

Hope yourself, Tina & the kiddie-winks are okay.

The odd thing....

Whilst that motor has a bog standard everything (with the exception of the obvious) is it me or does the roof look really odd?

I know it's got a little funny light at the back, but it just looks really out of place, perhaps it's the photo but it does show how bad the 110 roof is stylistically...

The fact the safari lights don't line up next to anything is a good example of this...

It's a series 109" roof panel, look at the front edge. A lot of 109 and 110 panels are interchangeable.

Could just be the angle it is sitting at and the big tyres, but the rear overhang looks too small.
Cheers

That's a side marker light as seen fitted to countless BWSOW (looks like a 'Rubbalite' version  -"Anorak!" everyone shouts! :D ) everywhere
.I don't see any particular reason for it either, only if it's there to fill in a previous hole or cover a dent?

Methinks that's due to the not-so-small arches. The front overhang has gone altogether!   [/img]

Didn't think those particular panels were quite interchangable. Isn't the top of the windscreen a totaly different shape? Can you put the series windscreen on a 110 bulkhead then?
Cheers, Karl..

you can fit a series 3 windscreen to a 90/110 bulkhead & vice versa but if u fit a series 3 screen you have to fit a series 3 roof as the top of the windscreen frame is a different shape as a 90/110 is curved at the top & a series 3 1 is flat.
