WVO or UCO Still legal????
« on: September 03, 2011, 05:26:38 »
After a local crackdown in my area I'd thought I'd just have a quick look online and now find it hard to find any details on whether or not it is still legal to use filtered waste vegetable oil as a road fuel without paying the duty as long as you use less than 2500lts.

I used to be able to find the well hidden section on it in the HM Customs Excise website but either they have made it even more difficult to find or the law has changed again and I missed it  There are references as using it in Biodeisel but not as a fuel in it's own right.

Any one have the relevant information and preferably a link to the HM Customs legislation?

***Edit***
Sorry just found the bio fuel section :embarrassed: I knew there used to be one but couldn't see the wood for the trees.
