« on: October 15, 2011, 22:23:06 »
i have just removed my steering pump off my 200tdi discovery, it is the bent arm one, i have a spare pump, but it is a straight arm one, is it possible to swop my bent arm onto the straight pump hope someone knows what i mean.

yes steering box :embarrassed: ive worked it out, im swopping the track rod bar, off the disco i got the straight arm steering box off so it will fit  ive changed the power steering pump first, still no power steering so im now changing the steering box, i also changed the pipes from the steering pump and from the steering box so when i fit the steering box theres nothing else it can be

So by now you can answer your own question? yes the steering boxs are interchangeable, the arms can be swapped between the 2 if you change the drag link, the drag links are different lengths though so you can't just swap the cast end.

Hope you get sorted.
