removable steering wheel boss

Has any 1 fitted a removable steering wheel boss to there truck and if so who makes it and is it any good. im looking at fitting 1 as a anti theft deterrent, but i wondered if they might be a bit flimsy for off road.

Having seen them used by rally teams I would think they would take plenty of abuse. In the days of fast cars I used either larkspeed or demontweaks.
