abs panels
« on: May 19, 2012, 10:15:04 »
Been on eBay looking for a new wing and for a cost I can get an abs one. How would I get on making the whole body from abs assuming I could get a plastic welder and fab up the bits would it be strong enough?

barbie and action-man seem to get on fine with theirs - not sure what's wrong with the body you got though - take some pic in front of mirror and let us judge.

i'd worry that the fact ABS has a mere fraction of the life of an alloy panel due to being very prone to UV decay. I dunno, maybe nto a factor if it cheap and easy to replace.
