« on: August 19, 2012, 12:17:43 »
A born again biker has just side swiped my parents into a ditch. Stuffed the back of the jimny and spun it 90+ degrees. Coming round a notorius bend against my olds dabbed the brakes stood it up and glanced it of the rear off side corner. He's ok they are in hospital for an exam.

Had to look up what a reborn bicker retard was. Was thinking someone who bickers.  Thankfully Google corrected and told me what a reborn biker was.

Sadly at least 10% of the bikers we see around here (Yorkshire dales) on a sunny weekend seem to have a death wish, and several get that wish! Only recently a fatal smash closed the A686 just outside Hawes for 8 hours requiring a 20 mile diversion, not good for the group of young cyclists that were booked into a hostel and already running a little late! Or for the locals like me who were simply trying to go about their business. Very sad for the bikers loved ones I know, but they didn't seem to be to worried about them either.

Most may be safe riders, but that is spoilt by the large minority who ride at very high speeds on twisting country roads with complete disregard for the safety of themselves and other road users. Retard may be the wrong word. Idiot, selfish, dullard, mentally deficient, Idipid and many more could be used to describe their actions.

A lot of bikers were probably on their way to the bulldog bash. Not every biker is a retard. But there is a percentage that don't have the ability to back up the actions they take on a bike.

235/85 special tracks, 3.9 V8, HD bumpers, +3 inch lift, +5 shocks f&r, 12000lbs champion winch, heavy duty steering bars, CB and a snorkel....

Regardless of what I may think the police are not happy and they intend to pursue the incident against the biker.
