turning off airbags on disco 1

I have a 1997 disco 300 and want to turn off both airbags. Were can these be unplugged?

Be careful if it's  a road car as the insurance may well not cover you if you have a shunt.

In that case the connectors for srs  are usually loud yellow. Also disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes before playing so as not to set off the pyrotecnics as they run on capacitors.

Or disable it with Rovacom/testbook.

However, IIRC they are disabled at low speed anyway.

I had a bit of a think, if your is 1997 then the sensors is built into the control unit in below the glovebox, so unless you have yellow trunking covering the wires to one orange sensor behind each headlight (in which case I'm wrong) and these are even less prone to going off when you drive through gravel.

Check your handbook (also available with RAVE) for info.
