Yep, t'was indeed.

It was robbed off the frontage of a house where he was doing a customer job - he chased it up the drive only to watch his livelyhood dissappear down the road.

He's not best pleased, to say the least!

Ta for the assitance folks - greatly appreciated.

This may be a silly question, but how do they start a car like that (ie a modern one) at short notice?  Isn't there an immobiliser?

I think they should let us have the scrotes who nicked the cars. We should do like they did in the old days and drag them behind a 4x4 on some muddy site until they either fall apart or die!!!!!

But no... instead they might get nicked and told to 'serve the community' for a few hours!! the best service they could do is p**s off and leave the country!!!!

Hope it turns up unharmed

<sorry for the angry remarks but I have had a stolen vehicle too recently>
If I could only find some mud to play in, I would be as happy as the preverbial pig!!!

We had a 6 wheel tipper stolen from Tiverton, it was seen going along the link road at 5.55am, it was reported stolen at 6.00am, when driver went to start work, never seen again. This is a 24 tonne lorry, with our name all over it, but vanished.
And better than that, on the A38, Tetlaw where planing the tarmac up, big coned site, one lane shut down. The planer was on its transport lorry, total weight about 35 tonnes. A car with a yellow flashing light, 2 men in yellow jackets comes through cones, stops by lorry, waves to the blokes working, jumps in lorry and drives off. Nobody says anything, just assumed it was being collected, 4 hours later, they phone up main office, asking when its coming back. DOH!, never seen again, some thiefs have big balls.
85% OF ALL LAND ROVERS BUILT, ARE STILL ON THE ROAD,
THE OTHER 15% MADE IT HOME ;)
