Many, many things that may have nothing to do with the central locking. havn't tread your previous thread but just as a try and see, if you unplug the MAF sensor the ECU defaults to a basic setting, I had a faulty MAF on a V8 once and it wouldn't start, even though in closed loop it ignores thr MAF once it's running it needs it to start, so it started ok without it and ran well enough to get home.
Beyond that I'd be ok with a set of meters and test lamps looking for electrical gremlins, as always it's easier to diagnose when you can get your hands on it.
