Mitusbushi shogun LWB PROBLEMS
« on: November 14, 2016, 06:39:20 »
Hi all.  I have a mitusbushi shogun 3.2 auto DID Equippe LWB. 05 plate.   Seems to be one problem after another. It's a great drive. But ..., it had a dead battery, and has now lost its "throttle Idle memory".  Which is a big pain to get  it to remember again.   I also done a service, for last winter. And struggles to start as fuel pump in engine is not getting any fuel (unless I prime it)  HELP. Please

Hi and welcome to the club.  I don't know much about your truck but we have a dedicated section for each marque, if you post in there you might get a reply.

Your current fuel problem sounds familiar, have you got an air leak in the fuel system? have you checked the lift pump?

If it doesn't have a separate lift pump it might be worth adding one, this was common in Transits which used to struggle to start after a long stand, the integral lift pump wasn't always up to the job.
