New front bumper
« on: May 10, 2005, 13:54:00 »
I'm looking for a new front bumper for my 300TDi - I want something to replace the existing bumper and spoiler, offer a better approach angle, some recovery points and not look too 'fancy'!!! I want something like the Scorpion racing replacement winch bumper but it doesn't need to have the winch element.

Any suggestions please?

Devon 4x4 do a nice non-winch bumper for the Disco.  (About halfway down on the left)

There's also This one from 4x4 Parts Master.

I had one on my Disco, still got it in garage but had to trim about and inch off the ends when I fitted the wheelarch flares.
They are good and strong, come with recovery eyes, the tubes to take a Hi-Lift and extra chassis mountings so it's well secured to the vehicle.    :D

I've fitted the heavy duty bumper Paddocks sell which provides jacking and recovery points but doesn't have a winch mounting.  It was easy to put on, looks very neat and was delivered promptly with everything required.
