So, what's everyone doing then?

There only seems to be 3 things in the events section - and only one is a weekend job.

Is everyone planning a quiet weekend?

Well there's a couple of "all-weekenders" going on next bank holiday, both in Derbyshire...

For more info, try here or here. I'll be at the former, and hopefully popping up to the latter for one of the two days  :D

I think the camping weekend is for full GLASS members only, but I'm not sure - check with the contact on the linked page  :)
Apparently the BADLRC pay and plays are quite good, although I haven't yet made it up to one...

Hope neither organisation minds me promoting these on here

Cheers

Is that that small quarry site on the west side of the A515 visible from the road, north of the tissington turnoff? If so excuse me but i think i'll pass?

My brother and I are considering this one.

If not, maybe we should get together one of the days :)

AWDC have got an event at Little Houghton aimed at giving non members a taste of trialling, I think it`s the same venue as used by Billing.  I should have some flyers soon and will post again when I have more details.

Looks like I might be getting the best of both worlds... Laning on the Saturday and off site funday on the Sunday..... probably followed by car cleaning on the Monday
If I could only find some mud to play in, I would be as happy as the preverbial pig!!!

I'm either getting dragged (kicking & screaming) to the BWSOW

Or, if I have my way I'm off to Nostell Rally

If I do have to go to the van, there's a ploughing match/steam rally up on the Wolds

I assume so - I've never been, so can't comment about the quality (or otherwise   ) of the site...

If it's not worth the money, I'll give it a miss as well. I was hoping for something quite good based on the comments on the LRUK forum.

Cheers

Oh dear - not looking good :(  Thought we might go to this but didn't fancy camping in a field with no facilities (well, OK, there will be portaloos!).

So, I started looking for a local campsite ... found a few but so far, everyone is booked up for the bank holiday weekend   To be expected I suppose :(

Now looking at doing the recent 250-mile roadbook (wiltshire/Hampshire) from Total Off Road magazine ... just need to find a campsite...
