..... Or what ever it's called now (was 'Home & Leisure')

Tonight at 21:00 (SKY 133) is showing a  programme called 'Rides'.

According to the papers, it's concerned with the construction of the Mustang GT500 as used in the (Nic Cage/Anjelina Jolie) remake of 'Gone In 60 Seconds'
Not too sure of the details, but it's a gorgeous car & they may even have the Miss Jolie herself on?

If you miss the 21:00, as I will (due to work  ),it's repeated at 22:00 on the +1 service (SKY 134)

If you don't know, Eleanor looks like this
They'll even build you one  :D

Do you meant the 'Mad Max' Police Interceptor replica?*

The green/black '69 Charger is the one that Richard "I Am A Driving God!!" Hammond (Top Gear) owns & is now for sale

*The real one is in the 'Cars Of The Stars' Museum up in Keswick & looks well 'ard.

They've got a genuine Warner Brothers studio General Lee as well

:( Sadly i havent got SKY, so i cant see it.
But i agree what a gorgeous proper V8 muscle car.  :D
My old art teacher had a 69 Charger in metalic green with the white racing stripes going over the bonnet/roof and rear end, looked and sounded amazing... I think it was that, that got me into V8s as a youngster. Definatley the cooliest teacher in school.  :D
If in first you dont suceed, try second....
If it aint broke, your not trying ard enough....

Bit late home & the wife was watching some tosh about Abba, but she went to bed about 22:30, so I saw the last 30minutes.
What a set-up, there were Mustangs galore in the wrkshops.

A beautiful yellow Mach 1 & a 'reverse' Eleanor (Black, with grey stripes)

Worth watching out for again.

Muky, the Charger isn's a small car is it??

I agree the 440 (the Magnum, for obvious reasons) is an awesome sound, or it might have been a 318.
426's are like rocking horse droppings (that's a constipated horse as well)

Magnum's make a V8 TVR sound like a toy (& that takes some doing  )
