I think the detail which struck me most abou tit was how little like a comic it seemed, there appeared to be a concerted effort to make everything seem real, or at least plausible.
The acting was quite remarkable as well, not an ounce of show stealing in any of the cast, they genuinely wanted to make a film version of batman more in key with "The Dark Knight Returns" than with Adam West's camper than a field full of boy scouts.
I want a sequal already ... (pout)
Oh & Rutger Hauer is in it as well, as a slimey Exective.
