Have you checked the fluid level??? if not replace the cheap bits first ie fluid the pump and finally the steering box
I may have a second hand pump availble after the weekend as I'm ripping my engine out and putting a V8 in it  .....................thank god some power just need a loan to keep petrol in it!!!
I am in Northampton

Cheers for the advice.
i'll check out towcester.
I changed the steering box last year, and its still got a warranty
But that’s no guarantee
The fluid level looks fine a little cloudy but not bellow the level it should be.
So how much do you want for the pump?
ohh an eight
efi or air breather?
I am in the middle of pulling apart a rangy to shoehorn the lump into my s1, luckily the rangy I got has a gas kit in it.
And I should be getting a beer barrel to use as a fuel tank.
dazzawhipple I drove past you this morning.
Your up on ramps at the moment.
If you need a hand I humbly volunteer my services.
