Well all I can say is the outdoor life suits me fine.

Load up the tackle, drive off round the lakes, camp rough for a few nights, catch a few carp, then bog off up the dales or somewhere and do it all again except this time on the green lanes and without the fishin'.

Way to go . . . . . .  :D  :D  :D

yep me to only managed a 6lbs carp but still trying for the big one 6.5lbs** any fish will do  :lol:

Had a crackin' trip out yesterday out of Pembroke. 8 rods out, around several marks around Skomer Island & some deeper marks further out. Heres the species count for the day (nothing too big, the Bass won the heaviest fish comp at about 4lb & the Red Gurnard won most unusual species caught (for the mark where it was caught) (neither caught by me BTW :( ))

Red gurnard 1
grey gurnard 1
Codling 6
launce 14
Bass 1
Herring 1
coalfish 37
pouting 1
dogfish 1
Ballen Wrasse 1

i've got the rods course and sea fishing

prefer sea fishing good excuse to stand on beach in eveing watch the sun set and collect your thoughts.

cant wait for september shoot to Borth In wales and fish of the bech till late fantastic
