Idiocracy - Comedy Film or A Peek Into Our future?

Just watched a movie on Sky Premier called Idiocracy. It was pretty funny... but at the same time, pretty scary!

An US Soldier who is average at everything gets "selected" to be an experimental subject in a cryogenics experiment.

Needless to say things go horribly wrong and he wakes up 500 years later. Where, as a result of dumbass people procreating faster than professionals and intellectuals... the world is a dumb place...  no... really dumb!

There are some real subtle jokes but the thing was... throughout it all... I felt like I was looking just around the corner!

Anyone else see it?!

I just finished watching the same film, and while thinking there might b an element of truth
somewhere in it for the future i still cant believe i actually i watched it........
cant believe people get paid to come up with things like this and even stranger still weirdos like
me who watch it. passed an hour and a half though and gave me a few chuckles along the way.
r we the only two people who watched it???????? or does no one else want to own up to watching it????????? :lol: :lol: :lol:

You know I think it was designed on a number of levels... the obviously ridiculous toilet humour to keep the masses (or do I mean stars of the movie?!) amused... and then more subtle funnies... designed for the interlectewals... like you and me!

not sure about the inlektrals? but it was some wot funny a parts if not just plain old dum! the things she makes me watch!!!
