Mad, crazy

What a waste

I thought they were responsible when i saw them draging away the wreck at the beginning, but no...........

I just hope that isn't stolen (and the owner sees it).

From what I saw of the jeep at the start of the video, it was a pretty tidy one to begin with.  Someone probably had spent a lot of time looking after it, only for it to end up being trashed like that in the end.

they show the number plate, that would be asking for it if it was stolen.

My theory, trying to do a "Jackass" style video, probably picked the Jeep up as an MOT failure for 200 quid, it may have looked decent but the video wasn't that great quality, there could have something wrong internally that wasn't worth the hastle of re-MOTing it, just my theory
i wish, i wish, i wish i had a landy,

I used to own a black on of them. It was built like a brick.  On a day out at Telford, my m8 stood it on its nose and we had to get somone to push it back onto its wheels. Damage - NONE

It bit the dust when it was rear ended on the motorway by a pair of fully loaded transits. It got lifted into the air and came down on the first transit and removed its front frame complete with engine and box. It was still drivable.

With the damage to the car in the video, they must have done a lot more to it than we see.

No matter what is origins, its a real weaste of a good motor.

I am now a pure LR fan, but this, for some reason, is a Jeep advert I realy like

Just more amunition for the Anti's - people like these are the main reason greenlaning is being outlawed for law abiding, responsible 4x4 drivers. These sorts will just carry on as if nothing has changed.

As always the miniority will spoil it for the majority.

Jeep probably isn't stolen- these things come up real cheap all the time- 4.0L engine and pricey spares don't help.

I wonder if the ramblers moan about what 4x4 owners will think of them if they see somebody running and jumping in a field instead of walking

Well, you wouldnt do 10% of that abuse to a land Rover, before a half shaft went, or diff blew.

But i still love em.

My point was - whatever they're up to (legal or otherwise) someone is sure to take it of context.

Personaly I reckon they're on private land with a scrap Jeep - but to the casual viewer (or Mr Anti 4x4 in particular) it just looks like irresponsible 4x4 driving louts trashing cars and damaging woodland (yes they ran thing into several trees). What ever they're up it doesn't look good and won't help the cause of responsible offroad driving in the UK.

Just more fuel for a fire that we really don't need feeding anymore.....
