Ok Guys. Fitted Rangie vented discs & calipers to my disco. Now after copious bleeding I have quite a bit of pedal travel & brakes are ok'ish, but here's the thing, if I pump the brakes I get a hard pedal but no brakes.......any ideas on where to start looking :?: :?: :?:

Do you have ABS?
If so you should find and use the correct procedure for bleeding the ABS valve block.
We had a severe pull on our RRC that the "Fitters Yuo can't Get Kwiker Than" had bled three times to no avail.
Bought the manual applied the process and fancy....! They work!

Don't mean to teach granny to suck eggs.... but you did put the calipers on the right side of the truck didn;t you...... ie, bleed nipple at the TOP!!!!!
Surprising how many people get it wrong!!

Skibum - No don't have ABS, so not that.
Disco-ron - Yes calipers are on the right side & egg sucking is allowed as I may have done somthing stupid.
As an aside - the master cylinder did empty as I forgot to clamp the hoses - like a [ed: naughty] !!

reminds me of a nova i had... 3 months to bleed them up right!
check over all the pipes, its possible disturbing the callipers could have loosened/kinked/damaged something you`ve overlooked, thus air creeps in, fluid creeps out.
does the pedal sink when you start the motor? - this will tell you the servo is ok. are the callipers free? sliders do stick and arent always obvious. especially if both sides are doing it.
