« on: March 09, 2008, 13:29:01 »
hey all,   Any ideas how you remove the Disc 1 spare wheel carrier?   i have gone to undo te bolts and once lose they just dont seem to want to come out...  all 6 of them.  I was wondering if theres any bolts on the inside of the door before i go ripping the interiour out to get at what might not be there that and the fact it will break the second i tug on it!

Thx in advance

I think you have to take the trim off the door and work from the inside

Yes there are nuts on the inside that spin, pop off the door card

Do it on a warm day and prise the pegs off with a paint scraper.

try and save the origanal ones if you can the replacements are a little bit smaller and not as secure but will do the job but if can reuse old one that will be best
