To replace the Rangie, would tow a caravan occasionally, take me camping and generally save me having to get the Civic grubby!

I have a 3.0 V6 Shogun on LPG and I love it but if you want a diesel Paj/Shogun I would go for the 2.8 as they have a lot more grunt and the camshaft is driven by a chain not a belt that needs changing every 60k. Don't expect to get much more than 24mpg though.
This looks nice,

Well, I've ended up with the 2.5 one with 12 months MOT for £600, which I thought was ok.
Only had Land Rovers before but for the money I had available and really just for a bit of towing and laning, this should be ok.
Hoping to collect on Sunday.....

Well, I've sorted the back door out now so that opens again - doddle.
Also drained and refilled the coolant as it looked a bit rusty, but no signs of any problems there.
Main concern is a banging noise from front nearside suspension, will have to investigate that.

Banging noise is possibly the front shock bolts have come loose, seems to be common problem.
other problem was the rear door, which youve obviously sorted, think youll like it what about a piccy of your Paj then?

I'll get a pic up quite soon - trying to tidy it a little first!
Will look at the shock bolts - thanks for that!

Gave the base of the shock an unscientific wiggle last night and there was some movement - will try and tighten tonight and if still problematic will replace the bush with the old l200 leaf bush trick.
Thanks

Tightening it is then!
Like everything else at the moment, it's a matter of finding a free five minutes!
