Northampton Club meetings

Interesting that we have 24 votes, but it is a LONG time since 24 signed up members have attended  :shock:

Here's to hoping we get a good turnout next month.

well hopefully me starting this poll has encouraged more people to come to the meeting this month.

I am sorry it seemed to upset people but I thought it was fair that everyone in the area (or out of it) could express an opinion. It couldn't be discussed in the pub at the meeting due to the low turnout.

I felt that all members should have a chance to put in an opinion regarding the meeting rather than one person deciding and the others having to go along.

The night and location will remain the same, at the next meeting we will have a bit of a chat about the following :

1. Location

2. Day of meet

3. Activities

4. Rep

Until point 4. is voted on, your current Northants Rep is me.

See you there, remember, just like in May for the possible election, no turnout, no vote. No vote = no ability to complain ;-)

Seems strange to have so few attendees ?? Considering the 6000+ members on here, for instance we held our Northants4x4.com meet only this Wednesday and over 40 members turned up (There are only 440 odd on the entire forum !!)

Yes but remember that this club is National and International where Northants 4x4 is a local club, so we don't have 6000 members around Northants.

That is true !! But still percentage wise you would of thought there would be a bigger turn out ?! But hey !! Perhaps there are lote of things happening on the same night ??!

To be honest I'm not sure how many members live in the area really, I haven't met them all so couldn't begin to give a percentage of the national number.

Might be interesting to check that out.  :)

Unfortunately i myself am not single (and i appreciate this could be quite upsetting for you to find out)  :'( as i realise if you were to meet / see a picture of me you would no doubt be  :drool: ................

But saying that the actual reason i asked about your relationship status in the first place wasnt actually for me !!
More the fact that a dear (but rather shy friend of mine) lets just call him 'Dave' for the sake of argument seemed to take quite a shine to you !!!

I believe in fact even going as far as enquiring if you would like to perhaps attend our pub meet or even the forum ?? Almost as a guest of honour in some ways ???
I look forward to seeing your response to this most generous invite.....................

Hi all I have had my vote. SORRY to hear you  have had enough frank altho i can't say i blame you as the topic seems to keep comin up. as for just one person who is MR MUD-CLUB (meaning Frank lol) and one person who travels maybe you should have thought your postion through some more!(you no you are welcome at the meets as much as i am)
I myself have been dealing with some medical issues so thats why i not been comin to meets however i will try and make the next one. unfortunatly TicTac will not be able to attend due to work commitments (she has a new job). we have both resigned from santa-pod now so getting some time together is of a premium.

I am looking forward to seeing you all again, lets hope its not a slanging match tho

To be honest I felt less welcomed at the West Midlands meetings than at the Northants. If I just wanted to see Jas etc I could go to Hinckley as I now live in Tamworth!!
